It’s a good drawing app once you get used to the different features. But you can’t draw anything good unless you pay over 40.00 dollars to get the pro upgrade. And you can only really use it with a pen.

So far it’s good I’m 9 and love it so far it is a bit hard tho so be aware of that but overall it’s good working great no glitches so far would recommend 👍🏽

I love Tayasui Sketches because for one: it has so many different digital tools you can use! Five of them are pencil, pen, water color, ruler, and eraser! You can also make layers so you don’t have to erase everything at once.

So I’ve had sketches for a while now, it was actually the first app I downloaded on my current phone but I’ve run into some issues with the app recently. The first one being that every time I go into the app, I’m immediately met with full screen ads from the devs about getting sketches pro. Another being that you can make only one post to the community a day and newer people in the community are really hard to find because of the popular users art piping up everywhere, but that’s minor compared to my next reason ( which really irritates me). half of the tools provided to you are locked for anyone who didn’t buy sketches pro, and the tools you are given are extremely limited and the bare minimum compared to other drawing apps like sketchbook. On the topic of the tools, half of what you can do with them is also locked behind paywalls, like I get it; the devs want money because there’s app has no ads, but does it really have to come down to this? The last update was full of things for free users and it was amazing! But the more recent updates has really shown where their priorities are. I feel like recently, they only care about the people who give them money, so if you’re thinking about getting the app, please think about if you want to get a drawing app that cares more about money then its users. ~Update~ In the most recent update they got rid of the pay walls for the tool but not for the line art for them so they fixed some issues. This is a step in the right direction so good job devs, just please give us back the feature where we can turn the canvas, that made life so much easier.

It was good and I love it. It’s just that the cool things in the ads you have to pay for.

This I a really good app my only comment is that several of the features require premium, which does cost money. But this is still a really great drawing app. You can also add pictures and stuff to look at for reference. Any other complaints I have are too minimal to mention here.

I love this app, but the thing is all the good stuff is blocked behind giant money walls. And when you try to undo your mistake sometimes it doesn’t let your return to the original picture. The good things about this app are the multi tools. There are so many to choose from there’s a pencil. There are two different types of pens there’s one of those paint markers there are two different types of paint brushes there’s a spray painter there’s an eraser there’s a smudger. Me to cut out the picture and then pasted it. There’s a ruler and then there’s a tool that automatically fills things in once you circle it. Overall, I love this app and it lets me have creative thoughts, but yet have such realistic drawings that I could never have drawn in real life. Great app and if you have money to spend totally by the special features.

I love sketches. I can draw whatever I want, which a bunch of add on’s! Different tools, paper, and even lessons to draw! Love the thing! ❤️😁

It’s your typical drawing app. It’s not bad, but not the greatest. It’s more of a B-tier if you ask me, but what ruins it is the fact it randomly freezes in the middle of drawing, and you have to exit the app and go back in it to fix it…which doesn’t save part of the drawing.

I have been a user since around 2021 and while they had many good features behind a subscription, it was very good without it. Recently they put many of their already previously free features behind a paywall and I am very disappointed in this new development. If they had added more features instead of putting the already free features behind a pay wall I wouldn’t have been as upset. Then again it’s 8 dollars a month, unless you have the money go for it but there are other alternatives with more features for less.

Good app but I don’t like that i have to pay for the other brushes

I’ve had this app for years and really enjoyed the simplicity of the UI as well as the limited but invigorating selection of tools. But now all of these nice and accessible tools are locked behind a paywall. Why would I pay a subscription fee for such a limited app when I could easily make a one time purchase for procreate for more than triple the amenities??? That’s exactly what I did, by the way. I really have to thank this app for introducing me to a far superior drawing app that I should’ve switched to years ago. I stuck around with sketches even when its bugs made it impossible to do elaborate pieces or have more than three layers only to be stabbed in the gut with a paywall for over HALF the tools I had prior. This is the end of an era, a toxic relationship with a drawing app that I poured my heart and soul into for years only to be disappointed ceaselessly. Honestly, I thank you, truly, for opening my eyes and making me realize that I deserved better.

I love it it is so fun but they decided to make it so you have to pay to use some of the drawing utensils but except for that it’s great

It’s only money to do anything! And not at all what it looks like! I’ll be for real made me want to scream, no joke, don’t get it it’s a waste of time, don’t even buy the add ons they’ll give you three extra thing. The app really doesn’t seem to be what you think it is. I use a lot of good art apps but this one I don’t suggest, I suggest Sketch Book (an art app) is way better and gives you what you need. From a VERY disappointed customer!

I use the free version. I think I had a subscription at one point.

When I was drawing it kicked me out the app and when I opened the app everything was going great but when I tried using other textures on other pencils and pens is said I had to pay for it even though I already ready did and i don’t have enough money to pay for it

I think the app is good but having to pay more to turn the screen is not the best but other then that I think this is a good drawing app

I’ve been an artist for a long time, but this is my first time attempting to draw digitally with an Apple Pencil. This app has made it so easy to learn how to use the tools! It gives you step-by-step instructions on how to draw different types of illustrations! I just drew my first anime drawing, and I don’t even draw anime! Love this app.

So I went to go use the app this morning to find my favorite brush as pro but it used to be free I have been using the app for 2 years and I thought it was a great app but some people can’t afford pro so please fix this Love your app

This app does not specify “In app purchases” in the Store. But, it does require it for more than 10% of usage and does include in app purchases. Reporting. And, I work for Apple, so there’s that.

I’ve been using this app for nearly a decade now. I was such a fan of it that I spent money to get the pro edition of the app. As of recent, you can no longer use the pen lining tool, have more than two layers, or use the app offline without paying for a monthly (or yearly) subscription for an app I already spent money on. I purchased the pro upgrade years ago. Absolutely unacceptable. An app I had already spent my own money on and used for years now has features I was once accustomed to locked behind yet another paywall - a subscription based one at that. I will no longer be using this app and recommend you do not either. And to the developers reading this, I want my money back.

This is a really fun game but the problem is that you have to spend money for extra stuff

I had used this app for over 5 years, since 4th grade, I’m in high school now, and I loved it because it was simple and FREE. Over time it got better which made me use it more. Now I won’t use it because you have to have premium to use any of the good tools. I used it because I had gotten what I would expect from a free drawing app, simple and easy. Then you put a price on it and you don’t make it any better. This is how you lose customers and users..
